Last Thursday, the EY Startup Academy 2024 came to an exciting end — and what a journey it’s been. After months of hard work, valuable advice from experts, and countless pitches, the big question remained: who would take home the title? 6 Teams pitched, COMESO, cosy.green, Crowdgenix, mika and MixNmatch. And at the end of the evening, our expert Jury had a tough decision to make:

Many congratulations to mika from Berlin and their brilliant founders Agnieszka Walorska, Henry Müssemann and Lukas Linnekuhle! Their pitch and expertise truly stood out, capturing the trust and admiration of our partners. It was a well deserved victory. mika is a small business co-pilot for tax and bureaucracy.

The Winner of the Audience Vote online and in the room was COMESO GmbH from Frankfurt founded by Gloria Niiguaye, Vela Rajah and Sinit Negase Goitom. COMESO has created an elegant solution to address a problem faced by many members of the African diaspora: the healthcare of their family members in their home country.

It’s always a tough decision when choosing the winners, especially when all the startups in our program brought something unique to the table.
