The next “FinTech in and around Frankfurt” meetup will deal with the probably best established FinTech topics of them all – payments.
The digitization of payments has been on its way long before anyone ever used the term FinTech. Still, many companies that had massive impact on the payments sphere were launched as startups over the past couple of years and by now turned into unicorns. Considering that in 2017 still 74% of all transactions in Germany were settled in cash it seems to be obvious that there still is a lot of potential for change…
With this meetup we want to discuss where this is heading and how roles of different players might change in the future.
