Are you looking for a new challenge? Would you like to build your own company together with a motivated team? Frankfurt-based startup Shoppy is looking for a Co-Founder.
Amazon fresh is going to launch soon in Germany – Rewe, Kaufland and other retailers react with significant investments to defend their turfs. Substantial market shifts will happen when the current level of 1% online sales in groceries rises to, e.g., a UK level of 5%.
We are building a solution in this highly dynamic market environment for targeting a yet unsolved problem: Where can consumers find the optimal shopping basket of their daily products for the best price?
Shoppy (working title) is a Frankfurt-based startup in the pre-launch stage. To set the course for our vision to become the „No 1 Platform for Smart Shopping of FMCG products” we are looking for a Co-Founder.Your main responsibilities
- Coordinate the app development and orchestrate our digital production agencies
- Prepare and close cooperations with industry partners
- Develop a go-to-market strategy for Germany and international markets
- Engage in project management tasks
- Prepare the funds raising
- Lead and motivate staff
Your profile
- Excellent academic track record
- At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience
- Hands-on mentality with strong analytical and communication skills paired with pragmatism
- Previous experience in a startup, VC or FMCG sector highly relevant
- Affinity for software development, particularly mobile app, highly beneficial
- Fluency in German and English
