In a time that sees AI artwork selling for $432,500 — nearly 45 times its high estimate — technology has already majorly disrupted the world of art, whether it’s through providing new ways to mix different types of media, allowing more human interaction or simply making the process of creating it easier.

Mindspace and TechQuartier in co-operation with smart-collectors invite you to an evening to showcases different technologies and use-cases, host discussions about past and future developments, and highlight challenges and opportunities of technology in the arts industry. We are also happy to have the digital Städel Museum on board!

For this first edition, we have won one of Frankfurt’s most renowned gallerists – Barbara von Stechow. Barbara von Stechow grew up in New York City in the 70s, so she has experienced “pop art” first hand. For two decades, her gallery in Westend continues to provide a home to mostly American and German painters and sculptors – even the American director David Lynch (The Elephant Man, Blue Velvet, Twin Peaks) showcased her art in his outstanding gallery.

Barbara will kick-off the evening with an introduction to the recent developments in the arts world and give insights on how technology has disrupted the industry.
