AI Startup Rising enters the second round with its AI Academy! Sarah Holschneider, Head of NLP at L-One is going to talk on April 08, 2022 at 5pm about what to do when starting an NLP Project. The road to success can be rocky. Some rocks in these projects look very similar and can be avoided. Sarah will tell us about her experiences, from the first project idea and the right team composition to the finished application.

About the speaker

Sarah Holschneider is Head of NLP at L-One Systems, located in Darmstadt.

She has her roots in translation studies and computational linguistics which she studied in Heidelberg and Darmstadt. Sarah started at L-One in 2017, being the only NLP person in the company back then. The need of NLP expertise became obvious and increased during the following years, though. The existing projects grew, new ones arrived, and L-One Systems expanded its expertise in Natural Language Processing, even built a team of software developers, linguists, and mathematicians, dedicated to NLP projects.
