Opportunities to meet in person have reduced considerably since the start of the crisis. As an important part of the TQ experience, we need to find more ways to connect, which is why we’ve come up with ICEBREAKERS.

On January 13th, 2021 from 10:30-11:30am, TechQuartier and InsurLab Germany are hosting an edition with five InsurTech Startups who let us deep dive into the latest trends in InsurTech!

The concept is simple

We gather online to hear startups from our community pitch their businesses to a diverse audience. The goal is to give them visibility in the community and beyond, provide them with some feedback on their pitch, product or business model, generate some excitement around what they’re building and hopefully create some meaningful connections between the participants.

Presentations are held in English.

The Startups

Riskine rethinks digital insurance consulting. Since 2016, the fintech has been developing – on the basis of the latest AI and graph-based technologies – digital solutions (including risk analysis, product advice, 360° pension planning, household calculator, asset overview) for banking and insurance advice for private and corporate customers.

FreeYou wants to make insurance easy, digital and smart. Their customers let them take care of the annoying paperwork and boring insurance jargon by using IoT, data based analytics and an agile approach. They believe good insurance is characterized by services that are transparent and easy to understand. They already launched a bike insurance policy and a car insurance policy.

Covomo is your contact when it comes to insurance coverage for things that are important to you. This includes, for example, the health insurance for your next trip to America, surgery protection for your pet or the right insurance for your smartphone.
