AI Startup Rising enters the third round with its AI Academy! Harini Suresh, Vice President of Projects at Omdena is going to talk on May, 12, 2022 at 6pm about how AI can focus on social issues. One of her case studies is helping people with visual impairment to easily use buses through computer vision. People with visual impairment face an enormous amount of challenges daily. One of the biggest challenges is in orientation & mobility – the ability to walk safely and accurately from point A to point B.

About the speaker

Harini Suresh joined Omdena in 2020, where she was promoted from Junior Machine Learning Engineer to Omdena Mentor in only five months and three AI-Challenges. She is interested in researching how Artificial Intelligence can solve real-world problems with huge amounts of data and devising the best-fitting model.
