Frankfurt's founder scene wins self-confidence according to PwC

The Frankfurt founding scene has started to develop much before the background of the Brexit and the ongoing Fintech revolution, but those elements have somehow, given a completely new self-image.
94 percent of the start-ups based in the Rhein-Main metropolis area consider that the founding climate in Frankfurt is now good or even very good.
In comparison to the German average, only 86 percent of the young companies rate their location so positively.
In addition, nine out of ten Frankfurt startups, believe that in the coming years, the local hub will gain more relevance – only two per cent fear the opposite.
This are some of the results of a survey of from PwC among 450 German startups , including 50 from the Main metropolis.
Frankfurt as a start-up business is taking off
“Frankfurt and the Rheine-Main area are increasingly becoming one
Important founder region “, says Dr. Ulrich Störk, Head of the Frankfurt PwC-
Location. “FinTechs scenarium is related to the proximity to the international financial world but also other industries, such as logistics or chemistry, offer a very exciting environment for young and digital projects.”
