Job Description
As a UNIX Specialist at Cyreen, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining our smart-screen network and ensuring the stability and scalability of our technology infrastructure.
What can you expect?
- You prepare and support national and international pilot projects and rollouts, including configuring and testing network devices such as RFID readers, LTE routers, and PCs
- You create and manage software images for new deployments and conduct system and stress tests to ensure reliability
- You provide 1st and 2nd level system support and brief installation partners on-site on the correct installation of our system
- You work closely with our CTO to manage and optimize our smart-screen network
- You support the team in scaling our business internationally
- You enhance our product by developing new software features that improve stability and performance, depending on your experience and interest

What should you bring along?
To be successful in this role, you should bring:
· Strong expertise in Linux and Linux system configuration.
· Experience in shell scripting (Bash) to automate processes.
· Experience in networking (LAN and WAN)
· Familiarity with CI/CD environments and setting up continuous integration pipelines.
· Bonus points for experience with:
o AWS services (EC2, S3, etc.).
o Google Go (Golang) development.
o PostgreSQL database management.
· Fluency in German and English (written and spoken).
· Availability to work in our Frankfurt office (with flexible remote options).
· A Class B driving license (passenger car).
· An agile mindset, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.
· A strong team player who enjoys achieving goals together.
