SUMMARY:FinTech in and around Frankfurt Meetup @ TechQuartier
DESCRIPTION:FOES BECOME FRIEND – ON FINTECH BANK COOPERATION\nSince our topic is about connecting to worlds\, we will do the same with this meetup. Our friends of TechQuartier invited us to join them for their famous “Äppler Time” and we will bring along our community… and an exciting meetup.\nSome years ago\, the news were full of young startups yelling “f*** the banks”. Some years later many of them learned to love their former enemy (…or started off in a friendlier way from the very beginning…) and built strong alliances that help to shape the future of finance. Our meetup will be about these alliances and the success stories connected to them. \nAGNEDA\n18:00 – Get-together\n18:30 – Welcome note by FinTechFFM and TQ\n18:35 – 1st key note: Scalable Capital will provide some background on their success story of combining a classical B2C product with B2B products and services\n19:00 – 2nd key note: fincite – the successful B2B-FinTech from Frankfurt on how they became a name to be reckoned with when it comes to digital financial services\n19:25 – 3 startup pitches à 5 minutes followed by vote and QnA\nBlocksize Capital (http://www.blocksize-capital.com/)\nfinbc (https://www.finbc.io/)\nmodelogiq (http://www.modelogiq.com/) \n20:00 – Networking beer and pizza with open end \nThanks to our supporter VISA for enabling us to offer the usual beer and pizza and of course to our friends of TechQuartier for having us!
